The Triangle Show The Triangle Show is not the usual Society show for members, but a competition between three specialist Pelargonium, or geranium, societies in the Midlands (UK), arranged and hosted each year in rotation. Set up originally, five years ago, by the Birmingham Geranium Society, they compete as three society teams to win the Kath Firminger Trophy, which was donated by Les Firminger (one of the BGS vice presidents) in memory of his late wife. The 1999 Show was hosted by and held at an evening meeting of the Coventry Fuchsia and Geranium Society. 80 people attended this year and Birmingham was beaten into second place, by only two points, by Coventry. The excellent photographs of the show (below) have been provided by Norman Dale, to whom I wish to send many thank for allowing me the use of them here. They are copyright of Norman, so please credit him by name and the Pelagonium & geranium Website, if you copy or print them. If you are interested in any of the three Societies please contact them directly at: Birmingham Geranium Society Hinckley Group BEGS Coventry Fuchsia nand Geranium Society Membership Costs :
